Our Commitment to safety

 

Your well-being is the highest priority here at Healthy Balance Massage Center.  Our businesses core principle and mission is to provide a service that balances out physical, chemical and mental/emotional health.  Your health is part of the foundation and our purpose.

 

We have always followed safe and clean environment for our clients and patients and want to let you know a little how we achieve that.  Our reviews will reflect the fact that we pride ourselves in having a clean environment for our clients and patients.   Below are some of the things each we require our therapists and employees to do every single day to keep our clients, patients and employees happy and healthy.

 

Among our protocols…

  • We are a small boutique business and by only offer massage services and only receiving clients by appointments (and not walk ins),  we do not have long waits or others waiting in the lobby. We do ask that our clients wait in their car upon arrival and we will come and escort you to your room.   We also ask kindly that anyone that is with to not wait in the lobby.  

 

  • After every session, linens are removed and replaced in the treatment room. This includes all sheets, towels, and the cover for the head rest. Clean linens are stored in closed cabinetry. The massage table, head rest and stool are thoroughly wiped down with a disinfectant between each client.

 

  • Lotion bottles, skin care product bottles are wiped down with a disposable disinfectant and sanitizing cloth.

 

  • Objects that are frequently handled, such as phones, keyboards, toilets, door handles, massage stools and tables, counter tops, and cabinets are regularly cleaned with a disposable disinfectant and sanitizing cloth.

 

  • Air filters are changed regularly according to manufacturer’s directions.

 

  • All employees must wash their hands with warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds before and after touching clients or patients, after touching money, before touching clean linens, and after visiting the bathroom.

 

In addition to these everyday steps, we are extra diligent to ensure employees exhibiting any signs or symptoms of illness, including acute respiratory illness, remain home. Likewise, if a client or patient with upcoming appointment is not feeling well, please give us a call and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment.
